Overview:
Dr. Richard Hardi has spent 29 years restoring sight in the Democratic Republic of Congo. From a small operating room in Mbuji-Mayi, he travels hundreds of kilometers to remote communities, where patients—many of them elderly or children—make difficult journeys for a simple cataract operation that could transform their lives.
